Residence Inn by Marriott Austin Lake Travis/River Place

Room is past it's glory but yet very nice. Enjoy being able to cook my meals. The morning buffet is okay. Not ready till after 630am I need to be on the road to work by then. So no breakfast or coffee to start the day during the week. Front desk people are very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this place. Location is somewhat remote.

The pros: room was huge and spacious. We had a two-room suite and the beds were comfortable and clean and we were west-facing with Incredible views especially at sunset. The kitchen was well equipped put silverware and plates and things of that sort and they even had little Miniatures of cleaning fluids. We also got early check in! The cons: 1. When we arrived the TV in the main room did not work that being said the hotel was responsive and did manage to find a remote that would turn it on so after that we could use it. 2. Upon arrival the lady told us our room was at the far left end of the building so we should park down there. She failed to note that we were on the 4th floor and there was no elevator at the far end so we had to carry our luggage all the way back to the lobby where we were in the first place just to get the elevator! 3. The room had a few minor issues like a blinking light in the ceiling that went on all night long. It was a small light but annoying there was also some maintenance issues like broken covers in the refrigerator. 4. The water everywhere was not hot. I would categorize it as very warm. So even with the shower on all the way hot you only ended up with a warm shower. 5. The diverter in the shower only worked about 30% so you got a mediocre stream of water out of the shower head. All in all we would stay here again despite the minor inconveniences

This hotel is nice. Breakfast is typical for a Marriott. Beds were comfortable. Hot tub hot! Very nice! Pool was cold! Meh...OK. Staff were great!

Good place to stay around the lake. Rooms are a little rough around the edges but clean and comfortable. Pool and hot tub were clean, good temp, had towels. No complaints. We had a nice window view. Good value for the price of the room.

Room 204 , Week of June 23, 2025. The rooms are pretty much nice except maybe the air conditioning, which is a little bit on the weak side. They parked a lot is pretty sketchy, though. Don't expect to be able to see your vehicle from your room unless you're on a certain side. Overall this hotel is favorable to stay in.

This hotel is situated in a very nice location with beautiful surroundings. The room was very nice, with a comfortable bed. Very nicly kept. The fire pit was also a nice touch. Julian, the front desk attendant was extremely professional and extremely helpful.

I have not even finished my stay yet but just had to say how impressed with this place. Room is beautiful, so comfortable. Biggest plus, the staff are amazing! The young lady who checked me in was amazing, late night check-in after my apt flooded, was so tired and made me feel comfortable immediately and to Julian Highly recommend!!!

I was greeted by Julian, who was super professional. He asked all the right questions to make me feel right at home and set me up for a great stay. The room is really spacious and has everything you need, like a microwave and a fridge.
